Practice 1

Read the dialogue with your tutor. Then, work together to analyze the student's responses. Try to understand the speaker’s purpose and find useful words or phrases you can use in your own answers. Finally, practice responding to the same questions with your tutor.

I usually shop at a big shopping mall near my house. It has many stores, so I can find clothes, groceries, and electronics all in one place. Sometimes I also buy things online if I don’t have time to go out. Online shopping is very convenient, especially for busy days.

Many things affect what I buy. Price is very important because I try to save money. I also check the quality to make sure it will last a long time. Sometimes, if there’s a big discount or a friend recommends it, I decide to buy it.
