Getting Along with Parents

Agree or Disagree

State whether you agree or disagree with the following statements. Explain your answer.

  1. It is important for children to get along with their parents.

  2. It is not unusual to have more conflicts with one parent than the other.

  3. Conflicts with a parent are usually intense or emotionally difficult.

  4. Parents do not care how their children feel.

  6. Shared activities, jokes, or routines help children get along better with their parent.

  10. It is important to build a closer and more understanding relationship with your parents as they grow older.
